By comparison, 904L or 316L stainless steel has a density of merely 7.9 to 8.0 g/cm³. This fundamental physical reality creates an insurmountable divide: a standard stainless steel chronograph weighs approximately 135 to 145 grams, whereas a genuine solid 18K gold equivalent weighs between 210 and 230 grams on a calibrated analytical balance.

Solid Au750 cold-rolled billets are milled under high-pressure coolant to exact micrometer tolerances (±0.005mm). True luxury requires empirical verification. Before any timepiece enters our vault or is dispatched to a collector, it is analyzed via Thermo Fisher Scientific™ Niton™ handheld X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry. Non-destructive XRF excitation emits elemental fluorescent X-rays that instantly measure quantitative elemental composition to two decimal places.
Our metallurgy consistently assays at 75.20% to 75.40% pure gold, exceeding the legal minimum threshold for Swiss 750/1000 hallmarking. The remainder of the alloy consists strictly of oxygen-free copper (12.5%) and fine silver (12.3%), yielding authentic Swiss warmth without the inclusion of cheap zinc, lead, or allergenic nickel.
